Mesh, jet, or ultrasonic — which technology is best?

The three main types differ in how they turn liquid into mist. Vibrating mesh nebulizers like the MistPro push medication through a fine mesh, are near-silent, pocket-sized, and battery-powered. Why does particle size matter?

The therapeutic benefit of inhaled medication depends on where particles land in the airways. Particles in the 1–5 micron range reach the small airways and alveoli where asthma and COPD medications need to go.
