How each one works

  • Clinoptilolite zeolite is a naturally porous, negatively charged aluminosilicate mineral. In the digestive tract it behaves as a gut-level binder. It is not meaningfully absorbed into the body. See is zeolite safe?
  • Modified citrus pectin is citrus-peel pectin processed into shorter chains so it dissolves more easily. It’s essentially a soluble fiber that forms a gel in the gut and is studied mostly for that fiber-like activity.

Which should I choose?

Neither is proven superior for “detox,” so the practical questions are what fits your routine and tolerance. Can I take both together?

It’s best not to stack multiple binders at the same time — they all work in the gut and can bind nutrients and medications, raising the chance of interference or constipation.
