What is the MistPro Nebulizer? The MistPro is SonoHealth’s FDA-approved portable mesh nebulizer. It uses vibrating mesh technology to convert liquid medication into an ultra-fine mist for inhalation. Price: $69. Includes masks for children and adults. What technology does MistPro use? Vibrating mesh (piezoelectric) technology — the most advanced type of home nebulizer. The mesh vibrates at ultrasonic frequencies to produce 1–5 micron particles ideal for deep lung penetration. No compressor, no noise, no heat. Is it FDA approved? Yes. The MistPro is FDA approved as a medical device. What is included with the MistPro? How do I use the MistPro? Add medication or saline to the medication cup, attach a mask or mouthpiece, press the power button once, and breathe normally until the cup is empty. See the full How It Works guide. Does the nebulizer come with medication? No. SonoHealth is not licensed to sell medication. Saline solution for inhalation is available on Amazon. Prescription nebulizer medications (albuterol, etc.) require a prescription from your doctor. Can I use saline in it? Yes. 0.9% isotonic saline for inhalation is the most commonly used OTC solution. Saline nebulization helps with airway hydration and mucus thinning. Can this be used on an infant? Yes, when using saline solution. SonoHealth’s FAQ specifically states: “if you are just using a Saline Solution for Inhalation, then you can use this with an infant.” For prescription medications in infants, consult your pediatrician first. How long does a treatment take? The MistPro manual says each treatment should last no more than 20 minutes; the exact time depends on how much liquid is in the cup.Medications
What medications can I use with MistPro? Compatible medications include albuterol sulfate, ipratropium bromide, levalbuterol, and saline solutions. Not for suspensions such as budesonide (Pulmicort Respules): the MistPro manual says not to use suspended medicines. See Medications Compatible for the full list. Can I mix medications in the cup? Some medications can be combined (such as albuterol and ipratropium, as in the commercially prepared DuoNeb). Do not mix medications without explicit guidance from your physician or pharmacist. What should I NOT put in the nebulizer? Do not use essential oils, tap water, IV fluids not formulated for inhalation, or any substance not specifically labeled for nebulization. How do I clean the MistPro? Clean and disinfect it after each use, as the MistPro manual says. Leave 75% ethanol (alcohol) solution in the medication cup for at least 10 minutes. Pour out the ethanol. Rinse the medication cup several times with clean water to remove all disinfectant. Do not rinse or soak the device body. Then run the device with clean water for 10 minutes, without breathing in the mist, and dry all parts right away. Each user must use their own mask. The manual says the accessories are single-use: do not reuse them. See the Cleaning Guide for every step. Can I put parts in the dishwasher? The MistPro manual doesn’t list a dishwasher. It says to disinfect the medication cup with 75% ethanol, and not to put the cup or masks in boiling water or dry them in a microwave, because the parts can lose their shape. Follow the Cleaning Guide instead. How do I unclog the mesh? Follow every step in the Cleaning Guide, including the 10-minute clean-water run and drying right away. Do not breathe in the water mist. Do not insert any objects into the mesh holes. If there is still little or no mist, replace the medication cup or contact SonoHealth support.Purchasing and Support

Dr. Carolina Melgar, MD provides a free video training series on mastering respiratory illness with the MistPro, available through SonoHealth. Does the MistPro need replacement filters? No. Unlike jet nebulizers, CPAPs, or air purifiers, the MistPro has no disposable filters or cartridges. The medication cup and mesh need cleaning and disinfecting after each use (see the Cleaning Guide), and there are no ongoing filter costs. The medication cup, which holds the mesh, wears out over time and needs replacing (see the Cleaning Guide). Can I charge it from a power bank or car for travel? Yes. The MistPro charges over a standard USB-C cable, so you can top it up from a power bank, a car USB port, or a laptop.
