Why filtration grade matters for asthma

Asthma flare-ups are often triggered by microscopic particles: dust-mite debris, pet dander, mold spores, pollen fragments, and fine smoke. Avoid ozone: it can make asthma worse

This is the single most important safety point for asthma. Ozone is a lung irritant that can worsen asthma, and some ionizing or “ozone-generating” purifiers emit it.
